Online Captain Course

Explore an online U.S. Coast Guard captain’s-license study pathway through Mariner Learning System. Complete the course online on your schedule; Boat Lessons separately provides private on-water docking and handling practice.

The captain-course study path is separate from Florida state certification and any Florida Gold / Enhanced on-water documentation; for hands-on practice, review boat courses and boat lessons and private docking lessons, then use the Boat Lessons FAQ for general scope and scheduling questions.
